Supernova was inspired by a pattern that I found in a very old pattern book.
The pattern was for a table runner made from crochet thread. It was a much
more fussy pattern, with lots of popcorn stitches and other poofy stuff on
it. I kept the basic four-pointed starburst part of the pattern and
improvised the rest. This is a quick and fairly easy square.
